Dirt
Dirt
Dirt is a lifestyle blog where I explore a bit of everything—from brands that catch my eye to companies and individuals making bold moves in sustainability and social responsibility.
I aim to spotlight those with a distinct edge or a strong commitment to changing things up in their field of work.
I also write about my own life, routines, and thoughts.
Vetting for Dirt is done using publicly available information, research into company practices, and internal references from trusted solutions experts and sources.
1 Hotel Hanalei Bay
1 Hanalei Bay is one of the most sustainable hotels that I have ever heard of. Sustainability is, quite literally, built into the hotel’s DNA, including “144.6 tons of salvaged materials turned into furniture, sustainable art pieces that pay homage to their surroundings, and an array of reclaimed teak joists, puma lava stone, quartz, Caesarstone, and so much more.”
